How many days do I need to abstain from sexual intercourse before donating sperm?
Optimal is abstinence for 2-4 days. This makes it possible to obtain a correct spermogram result. In the ejaculate obtained after 7 days of abstinence, for example, there is already poor sperm motility, a large number of leukocytes and other problems, i.e. the result of the spermogram will not reflect the real indicators.
